Detailed itinerary

Day 1: Arrive in Kigali

Arrive at Kigali International Airport, will meet your guide, if it’s a self-drive you find our representative and get your safari vehicle hired. Then will transfer to your lodge/ hotel in Kigali and relax after such a long flight. Dinner and overnight will be at your hotel

Mid-range: Hotel Villa Portofino Kigali

Day 2: Kigali city tour

Today will take on a simple Kigali city tour, among the key places to visit include Kisozi genocide memorial museum. Then will drive to Kimironko market and can crown the day with visit to Lake Nyarutarama. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight and rest for next day.

Day 3: Transfer to Nyungwe Forest National Park

Today will take a morning drive to of the amazing places to be in Rwanda, which is Nyungwe Forest National Park. The forest is a super natural biodiversity that hosts greater African tropical dwellers. Reaching the park south of Kigali will take about 3 hours, and then will take an afternoon nature walk alongside your lunch en-route. The nature walk is rewarding with a basket of primate watch, bird species, a lot of unique Central African tree species among others. Then check-in at your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Chimpanzee tracking and Canopy walks

This morning after energizing with breakfast, will rush to the tracking point. Consider trekking in the morning session, Chimpanzee tracking at Nyungwe forest leads into the tea leaves contours, thick forests, bamboos, according to the trip kind of chimpanzee group to track. Day 5: Transfer to Akagera National Park

With breakfast refreshments, will transfer to Akagera National Park which requires to drive back to Kigali and continue to the Park eastwards. Reaching the park by afternoon hours, will take an afternoon boat ride at Lake Ihema. The wild boat ride brings you close to uncommon wild of Rwanda, through scenic views of golden savannahs, swamps and tropics surrounding the lake, all make a tremendous consideration. You will watch greater wildlife species including crocodiles, hippos, monitor lizards, and many land mammals drawing water on the lake shores. Then check-in at your lodge for dinner and overnight

Day 6: Wild game drive and boat cruise

Wake-up under the arrays of the unique East African clear sunrise, realize the brightness of sun arrays heating directly on the golden savannah. Then, you will have to enjoy your served tailored breakfast. You’re now ready to embark for a morning nature walks through the savannah, and swampy landscapes of Kagera along the Akagera River. Then, en-route for lunch and take an afternoon boat cruiser on Lake Ihema watching crocodiles, hippos, several water birds like shoebill stork, kingfisher among others. Then will return to your lodge for dinner and overnight

Day 7: Transfer to Volcanos National Park

This day take a relaxed breakfast, and embark on a cozy drive to voluminous Volcanos National Park. This is Rwanda capital of adventures, the hub of gorillas that resides in the Virunga Conservation Area. The drive leads you to Kigali and then continues northwards acceleration to Volcanos National Park. Along the drive, you will enjoy a rare scenic view of rolling landscapes, this continues rolls are based on to call Rwanda a land of a thousand hills. The drive will last for about 4 hours, and reaching with lunch en-route will take a community visit in the afternoon hours in Musanze. Day 8: Trek gorillas

It’s your final day, and a day to face your closest relatives. Following your energizing breakfast, will drive to the starting point at Volcanos National Park at least 30 minutes prior to the trekking time. Be briefed about trekking, be grouped and under the lead of an armed ranger guide embark into the jungle for the day’s hunt. The search for the gorillas can last for 30 minutes to 4 hours walking into the rush, unmade path, sometimes moist and slippery grounds until your find the gentle giants in the deep. At the sight of the gorillas you have strictly one hour of watching and be entertained. Afterwards you will return to your lodge and rest for the day. Dinner and overnight at your lodge. Then after will drive to Lake Kivu and have your overnight there.

Day 9: Relaxing at Lake Kivu

Take this day a relaxed one, and enjoy the vibe of the white sand beaches. Make it a day to chill out after the other days of wondering across the country. All meals will be at your lodge, and overnight.

Day 10: Transfer back to Kigali International Airport

Wake-up under the hitting sunrise arrays, enjoy the colored morning alongside the served breakfast, the will take a drive back to Kigali city and make it directly to Kigali Internal Airport for your next flight back home.
